VSSA is now pressing forward for the spread of the Gospel as affect as it can. VSSA meets people by the strength of prayer, tracts distribution, person to person evangelism, mass praying for the sick etc.
Community development, Medical care centre, self supported schemes, rehabilitated the poor and unskilled with small projects such as: Poultry, Goatery, Diary, Gardening and other technical training and squash making, Jam, Jelly, candles and other possible areas depending upon the availability of materials and marketing facilities.
VSSA works in the villages of Orissa, Pastors and Evangelists are working in the villages of Phulbani, Gajapati, Koraput and Rayagada districts. At present 50 evangelists and 25 Pastors were working mightily in the remote areas in spite of many difficulties.
This centre works in 8 adopted villages. Children are staying with their parents and coming to the centre. The centre provides free tuition, mid-day meal, school uniform, school books, note books etc.
The children’s home is established on 25th March 1999, to help parentless children grow both physically and spiritually. Now nearly 25 children are being look after. A permanent home to be needed. VSSA not only care the orphans but also supports the poor and needy. Much care is given for spiritual growth, apart from the normal education imparted for them.
e have future provision for vocational training such as weaving, knitting, typing, carpentering etc. for those who have no aptitude for studies. So it needs absolute support. This will enable the children to earn their living in future.
This is an International Prayer Ministry, affiliated with Love Lines Crisis Centre, Minneapolis USA started first time in Orissa. This is a 24 hours, 7 days Telephone Prayer and Counseling Ministry. A team of prayer Warriors Praying regularly. Fifteen volunteers and counselors praying, counseling for physical, mental and spiritual problems regularly.
